Functional improvement of Smiles can be easily achieved with resin-based build-ups.
Gaps, wear, chips and uneven worn-down teeth can be restored simply with composite resin. Composite resin materials blend in well with natural teeth, so minimalistic repairs are easily achieved.
In this case, the gap between the two central incisors was too big and this was the chief concern. A conservative approach was chosen to try and get the smile functional and right. The teeth were selectively built up where necessary to make it look right.
We eventually plan to also treat the anterior teeth with Ceramic veneers. Until then the resin build ups will serve well.
